We are building a shared environment for VR that is based around bringing the web into virtual
environments. We need an engineer who has deep knowledge of javascript and browser technologies to make
this happen. You will be building our core javascript platform and APIs, and helping us forge a deeper
integration between Chromium and our game engine.
Who we are:
A virtual reality software company
Backed by some of the best investors on the planet
A team that is passionate about the future of VR
What we believe:
VR will be for everyone
The social connection enabled by VR will change your life (and we can show it to you) We should embrace everything that is great about the 2D web
That we can and will invent the 3D web
This is the role for you if:
You think that Javascript is manna from the gods
You’ve been in the middle of creating Javascript APIs and frameworks, not just using them You want to define the tools and techniques that devs will use to create the 3D web
You can make HTML5 hum like a finely tuned engine
Bonus points if one or more of these are true:
You’ve been deep into browser tech (Chromium / WebKit / Blink / V8) and know your way around You’ve spent some time working on web security issues
You’re familiar with one or more MVC frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone or React)
You know Node
